Our staff in all departments receive specialized training specific to their department and must provide a return demonstration to ensure education retention prior to being released to care for our residents.  Continued education is continuously given to our employees through walking rounds, return demonstrations, one-to-one, group sessions, special speakers, and computer-based training. 

Every employee is educated on specific topics including but not limited to dementia, Alzheimer’s, trauma triggers, behavior management, cultural diversity, and emergency preparation.  They have been training on what to do during those certain situations. 

We are proud to offer our facility as a site for Amarillo College students to count towards their clinical hours.
